3. Feature of Wound Drainage Reservoir
● The system is composed of the needle part and drainage bottle part.
● The special puncture needle followed by a drainage tube can go through skin and tissue to reach the areas of hematoma or ichors, avoiding big incision made by bistouries.
● With small holes in the drainage tube, the secretion can be easily drained off by a suction machine.
● The drainage tube with metal line inside can be detected by x ray.
● Safely, smoothly and completely drainage.
4. Direction for use of Wound Drainage Reservoir
To Activate:
1. Following placement of wound tubing inside body. Completely insert reservoir tube into suction port A.
2. Insert plug into pouring spout B just far enough to engage the flanges. Be careful not to impede air flow through pouring spout
3. Close Clamp on reservoir tube.
4. Fully compress the reservoir.
5. Completely insert the plug into the pouring spout.
6. Release clamp to activate.
To Empty:
1. Determine the volume of exudate using calibrations on side of
reservoir.
2. Engage clamp on unperforated reservoir tube.
3. Remove plug from pouring spout B and empty.
To Reactivate:
1. Be sure reservoir is completely empty.
2. Repeat steps 2 through 6.
