4.   Direction for use of Vacuum Blood Collection

1. Open by rotating the rear needle to the pen needle. Attach the needle to the holder and make sure it is firmly attached.

2. Puncture the vein with the needle hole facing up.

3. Insert the vacuum tube into the holder and push the tube so that the needle is fixed in the tube.

4. Blood will flow into the tube. Wait for the blood to stop flowing.

5. Remove the Vacuum Tube from the holder, place a dry cotton swab over the insertion site and remove the pen needle quickly without pressing.

6. Homogenize the specimen contained in the vacuum tube.
