1. Clean the patient’s skin prior to applying Ultrasound Gel.
2. Follow the instructions supplied by the manufacturer of the equipment being used to perform the medical ultrasound procedure.
3. Apply the required amount of Ultrasound Gel to the area of skin/equipment.
4. Following the procedure, remove any remaining ultrasound gel from the patient’s skin using personal hygiene wipes or wash off using patient dry wipes and soap and water.
5. Dry the patient’s skin thoroughly afterwards with paper towels.
