3.Direction for use of Flow Regulating Valve
1) Wash your hands.
2) Open the peel-off bag and remove the Flow Regulating Valve from the packaging.
3) Make sure the valve is in the closed position.
4) Insert the ridged inlet connector into the end of the indwelling catheter. Fully insert the connector for a secure connection.
5) Drain urine from your bladder as often as your healthcare professional instructs you.
6) To bleed the air bag, push the valve action tap down.
7) After draining, wrap the valve with a tissue and dab several times, then gently wipe the inside of the valve. This will drain any remaining urine.
8) Remember to turn off the tap after emptying.
9) Wash your hands.
