4. Direction for use of Mini Hydrophilic Intermittent Catheter
● Clean your hands before use.
● Before use, please shake the product horizontally to ensure that the coating is fully activated. Choose a suitable position, clean the urethral opening and the surrounding area.
● Hold the product vertically, first step, twist the cap by holding the connector.
● Second step, twist the connector by holding the container, pull the catheter straight up out of the container. Empty the remaining fluid from the container (in the toilet or sink).
● Use one hand to expose the urethral orifice and the other hand to insert the catheter slowly and gently into the urethra until urine begins to flow, and continue to insert the catheter into the urethra for another approximately 1-2cm. When the urine stops flowing, gently press the bladder position to make sure all urine is drained out. Gently withdraw the catheter. Stop the withdrawal process if urine restarts to flow and wait a few seconds until the bladder is completely empty and then remove the catheter.
● Clean the urethral orifice and the surrounding skin. Put the catheter back inside the container. Dispose, or carry it in your bag until disposal.
● Wash hands.
