Product Introduction
Hydrocolloid foam dressing consists of a semipermeable polyurethane film or PU foam coated with hydrocolloid containing carboxy-methylcellulose(CMC) as the principal absorbent and gel forming agent. Foam hydrocolloid dressing is based on hydrocolloid wound dressing, adding a foam layer, which allows the hydrocolloid to stick firmly and form a gel (non-adhesion wound) when it meets the exudate, and the foam dressing can absorb a large amount of exudate, the innovation of the hydrocolloid foam dressing is combined with the foam dressing. Its characteristics are that it not only retains the protective healing properties of hydrocolloid dressings, but also makes up for the insufficient absorption of exudate, thus expanding the range of clinical application of advanced wound dressings.
Hydrocolloid foam dressing can be used in the management of low to moderate exuding wounds like venous leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, superficial burns, superficial partial - thickness burns, donor sites, postoperative wounds, skin abrasions and small wounds.
