1. Rinse the cover glass with water and then gently wipe it with gauze or other soft cloth.

2. Pick up the cover glass gently with tweezers and cover it slowly at an angle of 45° so that one side of it touches the droplet on the slide first.

3. Then flatten it slowly to prevent air bubbles from appearing under the cover glass.
